METHODOLOGY:

Phase 0: Initial research and definition of a subject and issue (see: poster)

Chosen topic: Prospective Design and Lifestyle Habit Change in Space

Phase 1: In-depth research, field analysis, testimonials, and proposal of 3 axes of work.

The project focuses on the perspective of sending civilians into space. Using comparison with the COVID-19 confinement period and based on São Paulo data, with the psychological and emotional challenges associated with confined life.

Phase 2: Proposal of 3 concepts for each axis, methodology based on Strategic Design

The project aims to anticipate and reduce the impacts of spatial confinement on an unprepared population. It examines water overconsumption and differences in consumption habits on Earth and in space.

Phase 3: Concept development, on-site interviews with users, creation of a strategic plan and a business model.

The "SESC Solar" concept offers a solution by immersing São Paulo's population in space culture. It transforms SESC into solar systems with dedicated themes, offering a variety of activities. To raise awareness and educate, a playful game related to water use is introduced, with a tracking and ranking application. To enhance engagement, gamification is created in the form of a space passport.
